Moments ago, House leaders released the text of the combined health care reform bill and a separate bill to address the physician fee schedule problem. House leaders have apparently decided to address the proposed 21.5 percent in the physician fee schedule apart from health care reform – early press reports suggest that the so-called “doc fix” bill does not offer offsets and is similar to the Senate bill that was defeated last week. A two-year extension of the therapy cap exceptions process remains in H.R. 3962 (Section 1231).
